Responsibilities
- Coordinate multi-agency emergency responses during weekend shifts via CAD/RMS systems
- Process 911 calls with exceptional accuracy and crisis management skills
- Dispatch police, fire, and EMS units using real-time geospatial mapping
- Maintain critical incident documentation per NIMS protocols
- Train weekend relief staff on emergency communication procedures
- Collaborate with state emergency operations centers during major events
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years public safety dispatch or emergency services experience
- POST-certified Public Safety Dispatcher or equivalent
- Proficiency in CAD/RMS systems (e.g., Motorola, Hexagon)
- Valid California driver's license
- Ability to work rotating weekend shifts (Fri-Sun)
- NIMS/ICS 100/200 certification
- Bilingual fluency in Spanish preferred
