Responsibilities
- Process 911 calls and dispatch police, fire, and EMS resources
- Maintain accurate radio communication protocols during emergencies
- Enter and update critical incident data in CAD/RMS systems
- Coordinate multi-agency responses during major incidents
- Provide pre-arrival medical instructions to callers
- Document all interactions with detailed reports
- Maintain situational awareness during dynamic events
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- U.S. citizenship and valid Texas driver's license
- Ability to pass criminal background check and drug screening
- Excellent communication skills in English/Spanish bilingual preferred
- Ability to remain calm under extreme pressure
- Basic computer proficiency with data entry experience
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including nights/holidays
- willingness to complete state-mandated certification training
