Responsibilities
- Dispatch police, fire, and EMS personnel during overnight hours
- Maintain accurate radio communication with field units
- Enter critical incident data into CAD/RMS systems
- Coordinate multi-agency responses to emergencies
- Monitor surveillance feeds for public safety threats
- Provide crisis intervention to callers in distress
- Prepare detailed incident reports for investigations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 1-year dispatch/emergency services experience
- Valid Arizona EMD certification within 6 months
- Ability to pass background investigation and polygraph
- Typing speed of 40+ WPM with 95% accuracy
- Proficiency in CAD/RMS systems
- Ability to work rotating night shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- US citizenship and clean driving record
