We're urgently hiring motivated Public Safety Dispatchers to manage critical 911 calls and coordinate emergency response services. Responsibilities
- Process incoming emergency calls via 911 and non-emergency lines
- Dispatch police, fire, and EMS units using CAD systems
- Maintain accurate radio communications with field units
- Enter and update critical incident data in RMS databases
- Provide pre-arrival medical instructions via phone
- Coordinate multi-agency responses during major incidents
- Adhere to strict confidentiality protocols
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid Texas Driver's License
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Strong multi-tasking and decision-making skills
- Proficiency in computer systems and data entry
- Fluent in English and Spanish (bilingual preferred)
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including nights/holidays
- Must be 18+ years old
