Responsibilities
- Dispatch police, fire, and EMS personnel to emergency calls during weekend shifts
- Maintain accurate real-time tracking of all active incidents and resources
- Operate multi-channel communication systems (radio, phone, digital)
- Provide critical information to first responders and the public
- Document all communications and incidents in compliance with NIMS protocols
- Coordinate multi-agency responses during large-scale weekend events
- Perform system checks and maintain equipment readiness
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
- Minimum 1 year emergency dispatch or public safety experience
- Valid Arizona driver's license
- NIMS/ICS certification or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Proficiency in CAD/RMS systems (e.g., Motorola, E-One)
- Ability to work rotating weekends and holidays
- Pass background check and psychological evaluation
- Typing speed: 40+ WPM with 95% accuracy
