Responsibilities
- Dispatch police, fire, and EMS units during weekend shifts via radio and CAD systems
- Maintain calm communication during high-stress emergency situations
- Accurately process incoming emergency calls and prioritize response protocols
- Update and maintain detailed incident logs in real-time
- Coordinate multi-agency responses during weekend events and crises
- Operate specialized emergency communication equipment
- Adhere to strict confidentiality and HIPAA/GDPR compliance standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; associate's degree preferred
- Minimum 1 year customer service or call center experience
- Valid Texas Class C driver's license
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Proficient in multitasking with strong situational awareness
- Must be available for rotating weekend shifts (Sat-Sun)
- TCIC/NCIC certification training provided upon hire
- Typing speed of 40+ WPM with 95% accuracy
