Responsibilities
- Respond to emergency calls and provide first aid/crisis intervention services
- Conduct community patrols to deter crime and enhance public safety
- Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies during joint operations
- Develop and implement neighborhood safety programs
- Prepare detailed incident reports and maintain accurate documentation
- Participate in continuous training on public safety protocols
- Represent the City at community events and safety workshops
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree preferred)
- Current CPR/First Aid certification (or obtain within 30 days)
- Valid Arizona driver's license with clean record
- Minimum 2 years public safety or security experience
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Strong conflict resolution and de-escalation skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and public safety reporting systems
- Pass comprehensive background check and drug screening
