Responsibilities
- Enforce municipal ordinances and state laws while maintaining public order
- Respond to emergency calls and conduct thorough investigations
- Collaborate with community leaders to implement safety initiatives
- Prepare detailed incident reports and maintain accurate documentation
- Participate in proactive patrols and crime prevention programs
- Provide emergency medical assistance when required
- Testify in court proceedings and legal proceedings
Qualifications
- Texas Peace Officer License (TCLEOS certification)
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean record
- Minimum 2 years law enforcement or public safety experience
- Ability to pass physical fitness and psychological evaluations
- Proficiency in Spanish (bilingual candidates highly desired)
- Strong conflict resolution and crisis management skills
- US citizenship and clean background check
