Responsibilities
- Patrol assigned areas to prevent crime, enforce laws, and respond to emergencies
- Investigate incidents, collect evidence, and prepare detailed reports
- Collaborate with local, state, and federal agencies for coordinated public safety initiatives
- Provide community outreach and education programs on public safety topics
- Operate specialized equipment including emergency response vehicles and communication systems
- Participate in ongoing training to maintain certification and operational excellence
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
- Texas Peace Officer License (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
- Valid Class C Texas Driver's License with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of public safety, military, or security experience
- Fluency in English and Spanish (bilingual certification required)
- Ability to pass rigorous background check and physical fitness assessment
- Strong problem-solving skills and crisis management capabilities
