Responsibilities
- Patrol designated city areas to deter crime and ensure public safety
- Respond promptly to emergency calls and incident reports
- Enforce local, state, and federal regulations with professionalism
- Document incidents through detailed reports and evidence collection
- Collaborate with other agencies during large-scale public events
- Conduct community outreach programs to build trust and awareness
- Maintain equipment readiness and follow safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Nevada Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) certification
- Minimum 2 years law enforcement or public safety experience
- Ability to obtain and maintain Secret Security clearance
- Valid Class C Nevada driver's license with clean record
- Proficient in de-escalation techniques and crisis intervention
- U.S. citizenship and ability to pass comprehensive background check
- Physical fitness test completion within last 6 months
- Experience with CAD systems and report-writing software
