Responsibilities
- Respond to emergency calls and incidents within 15-minute response time
- Enforce local ordinances and state laws with professionalism
- Provide first aid and crisis intervention during emergencies
- Document incidents using digital reporting systems
- Collaborate with fire, medical, and law enforcement agencies
- Conduct community safety outreach programs
- Maintain equipment readiness and certification compliance
Qualifications
- Valid Florida Class E Security License or equivalent certification
- High school diploma or GED (college degree preferred)
- Minimum 2 years public safety or military experience
- CPR/First Aid certification (must maintain current status)
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Valid Florida driver's license with clean record
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights/weekends
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and incident reporting software
