Responsibilities
- Patrol designated areas to ensure public safety and deter criminal activity
- Respond promptly to emergency calls, accidents, and public disturbances
- Enforce city ordinances and state laws with professionalism and fairness
- Document incidents accurately and maintain detailed activity reports
- Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency response teams
- Provide community outreach and education on safety initiatives
- Operate department vehicles and specialized safety equipment
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)
- Valid Texas Peace Officer License or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Minimum 2 years public safety or law enforcement experience
- Ability to work flexible weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts
- Strong physical fitness and ability to pass rigorous physical assessment
- Excellent communication and de-escalation skills
- Clean background check and drug screening clearance
- Texas Class C Driver's License
