Responsibilities
- Patrol designated city zones to maintain public safety and deter criminal activity
- Respond to emergency calls and conduct thorough incident investigations
- Document all activities using digital reporting systems with precision
- Collaborate with weekend emergency services (fire, EMS) for coordinated responses
- Conduct community outreach programs to build neighborhood trust
- Operate department vehicles and specialized safety equipment
- Participate in mandatory weekend shift training and drills
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; associate's degree preferred
- Valid Ohio Peace Officer certification or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Minimum 2 years security/public safety experience
- Ability to work rotating weekends/holidays (Fri-Sun shifts)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and digital reporting tools
- Ohio driver's license with clean record
- Pass background check, drug screening, and physical fitness assessment
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
