Responsibilities
- Patrol designated city areas during weekend shifts to maintain public safety and deter criminal activity
- Respond to emergency calls and non-emergency service requests with professionalism and urgency
- Document incidents using digital reporting systems and maintain accurate case records
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during joint operations and community events
- Conduct welfare checks and assist vulnerable populations with compassion
- Participate in continuous training programs for crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques
- Utilize advanced surveillance equipment and communication systems for real-time monitoring
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; associate's degree in criminal justice preferred
- Minimum 2 years of public safety, security, or law enforcement experience
- Valid North Carolina driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to work flexible weekends and holidays without exception
- Proficiency in digital reporting systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong conflict resolution and de-escalation skills
- First Aid/CPR certification within 90 days of hire
- Must pass comprehensive background check and drug screening
