Responsibilities
- Monitor public facilities and recreational areas to ensure safety and compliance with city regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service and assistance to residents and visitors in person and over the phone.
- Assist in the collection and processing of public safety reports and incident documentation.
- Conduct routine patrols and inspections to identify potential hazards or security breaches.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services to coordinate community response efforts.
- Maintain accurate records of daily activities and issue citations or warnings when necessary.
- Participate in community outreach programs to educate the public on safety protocols.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Valid New Mexico driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
- Must pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Previous experience in government, public safety, or customer service is highly preferred.
