Responsibilities
- Patrol designated city zones during weekend shifts (Fri-Sun) to ensure public safety
- Respond promptly to emergency calls and incidents during weekend hours
- Conduct thorough incident documentation and weekend shift reporting
- Coordinate with weekend dispatch teams and emergency services
- Provide weekend community outreach and safety education programs
- Monitor weekend security at city facilities and public events
- Maintain weekend shift equipment readiness and inventory
Qualifications
- Texas Peace Officer License (TCLEOSE) required
- Minimum 2 years law enforcement or public safety experience
- Availability to work flexible weekend schedules (Fri-Sun)
- Valid Texas Class C driver's license
- Strong weekend shift communication and de-escalation skills
- Ability to work independently during weekend operations
- Pass weekend shift physical fitness assessment
- Background check and weekend shift availability verification
