Responsibilities
- Manage Public Requests: Process and review permit applications, license requests, and citizen inquiries with speed and accuracy.
- Constituent Services: Serve as the primary point of contact for the public, providing clear guidance on city regulations and procedures.
- Data Integrity: Maintain and update digital records and databases to ensure all city documentation is current and audit-ready.
- Timekeeping & Payroll: Accurately log daily hours and assist in the weekly payroll verification process to ensure timely compensation.
- Departmental Coordination: Communicate effectively with various city bureaus to resolve service issues and facilitate workflow.
- Compliance: Ensure all administrative activities adhere to local, state, and federal government standards.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Public Administration or a related field is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in administrative support, customer service, or government operations.
- Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and government database management systems.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse populations.
- Reliability: Proven ability to meet deadlines and work independently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
