Responsibilities
- Patrol assigned areas to maintain order, prevent crime, and enforce laws and ordinances.
- Respond to emergency calls and provide assistance to citizens in distress.
- Investigate accidents, crimes, and disturbances to gather evidence and maintain records.
- Prepare detailed reports of incidents, arrests, and activities for legal review.
- Interview witnesses and victims to obtain statements and information.
- Coordinate with other law enforcement agencies and emergency services during major incidents.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required; Associate's degree preferred.
- Valid North Carolina driver's license with a clean driving record.
- U.S. Citizenship or permanent resident status required.
- Ability to pass a thorough background investigation, drug screen, and medical evaluation.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Basic computer literacy and data entry skills.
