Responsibilities
- Manage high-volume inquiries via phone, email, and in-person to ensure exceptional customer service.
- Process and maintain accurate records of public requests, permits, and service tickets.
- Assist in the coordination of city events and community outreach programs.
- Ensure strict adherence to local, state, and federal government regulations and policies.
- Collaborate with departmental teams to streamline workflows and improve service delivery.
- Perform routine administrative duties including data entry, filing, and report generation.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in administrative or customer service roles.
- Must possess a valid Virginia Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and government database management systems.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse populations.
- Ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and physical examination.
