Responsibilities
- Conduct field inspections of public infrastructure projects including roads, bridges, and drainage systems
- Verify construction compliance with city codes, blueprints, and safety regulations
- Prepare detailed inspection reports and maintain accurate documentation
- Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and city departments to resolve compliance issues
- Investigate citizen complaints related to public infrastructure concerns
- Assist in developing improvement plans for municipal infrastructure
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in Civil Engineering or related field preferred
- Minimum 3 years of construction inspection or public works experience
- ICBO certifications (ICC Inspector certifications) highly desirable
- Valid Arizona driver's license with clean driving record
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and municipal codes
- Proficiency with inspection software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
