Responsibilities
- Perform heavy manual labor including excavation, material handling, and equipment operation
- Construct and maintain roads, sidewalks, drainage systems, and public facilities
- Operate machinery safely including jackhammers, saws, and pneumatic tools
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and OSHA compliance standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on large-scale municipal projects
- Conduct site inspections and report infrastructure concerns
- Maintain clean and organized work zones
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Texas Class C driver's license
- Minimum 2 years construction/labor experience
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
- Ability to work in extreme weather conditions
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of construction materials and tools
