Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including excavation, grading, and material handling
- Operate light equipment (e.g., jackhammers, saws, pressure washers) safely and efficiently
- Assist in road repair, drainage maintenance, and park upkeep projects
- Conduct routine inspections and report infrastructure issues
- Maintain clean and organized job sites while adhering to safety protocols
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on public works initiatives
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Florida driver's license with clean driving record
- 1+ years of construction or public works experience preferred
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in outdoor conditions
- Basic mechanical aptitude and equipment operation skills
- Strong commitment to safety and teamwork
