Responsibilities
- Operate heavy machinery (excavators, graders, rollers) for municipal projects
- Install/repair water mains, storm sewers, and road surfaces
- Perform concrete work including forms, pouring, and finishing
- Conduct daily equipment maintenance and safety inspections
- Execute snow removal operations during winter months
- Adhere to OSHA and municipal safety protocols
- Collaborate with engineering teams on infrastructure upgrades
Qualifications
- 2+ years of construction or public works experience
- Valid Wisconsin Class A or B CDL license
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification
- Ability to operate heavy machinery (excavator, dozer preferred)
- Physical stamina for lifting 50+ lbs and extreme weather conditions
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Wastewater operator certification (preferred)
