Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including digging, lifting, carrying materials, and operating hand tools
- Assist in road maintenance, sidewalk repairs, and drainage system upkeep
- Safely operate light equipment (e.g., jackhammers, power saws) under supervision
- Maintain clean and organized job sites following OSHA safety standards
- Support traffic control and flagging operations for public safety
- Complete daily equipment maintenance and reporting
- Participate in emergency weather response initiatives
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid Ohio Driver's License with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Basic mechanical aptitude and tool knowledge
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- Ability to follow verbal instructions precisely
