Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including digging, hauling, and lifting heavy materials.
- Maintain streets, sidewalks, and public parks through cleaning and minor repairs.
- Operate heavy machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently.
- Assist in traffic control and flagging duties during road construction or maintenance.
- Respond to emergency public works requests and assist with snow removal.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and environmental standards.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Valid Arizona Class D Driver's License (CDL preferred but not always required for entry-level).
- Physical ability to perform strenuous outdoor labor in various weather conditions.
- Basic knowledge of construction and road maintenance tools is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screening.
