Responsibilities
- Perform daily maintenance on city roads, sidewalks, and drainage systems
- Operate light machinery (sweepers, loaders, jackhammers) under supervision
- Assist in snow removal and winter weather operations
- Support park maintenance including landscaping and facility upkeep
- Follow strict safety protocols and OSHA standards
- Document work activities and maintain equipment logs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on infrastructure projects
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Indiana driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical labor in all weather conditions
- Basic mechanical aptitude and equipment operation skills
- Strong commitment to workplace safety
- Ability to pass pre-employment physical and drug screen
- Willingness to work flexible hours including emergencies
- Previous construction or maintenance experience preferred
