Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including road maintenance, drainage clearing, and debris removal
- Operate light machinery such as jackhammers, saws, and pressure washers
- Assist in construction and repair of public facilities and infrastructure
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and OSHA standards
- Participate in emergency response operations during severe weather events
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and on schedule
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Louisiana driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Experience with hand tools and basic construction equipment preferred
- Strong work ethic and reliability in all weather conditions
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of workplace safety procedures
- Ability to follow verbal instructions and work independently
