Responsibilities
- Operate city-provided heavy machinery (excavators, loaders, graders)
- Perform road maintenance and repairs under supervision
- Assist in construction projects including drainage and sidewalk installation
- Maintain public spaces including parks and recreational facilities
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and OSHA standards
- Document work activities and maintain equipment logs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Nevada driver's license
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- Basic mechanical aptitude
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Ability to pass pre-employment physical exam
- Class B CDL preferred but not required
