Responsibilities
- Execute manual labor tasks including excavation, grading, and material handling
- Operate heavy machinery safely (excavators, dump trucks) under supervision
- Construct and maintain public infrastructure (roads, bridges, utilities)
- Adhere to strict OSHA and city safety protocols
- Perform routine equipment maintenance and site cleanup
- Collaborate with engineers and skilled trades professionals
Qualifications
- Valid Washington State Driver's License
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Pass background check and drug screening
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification (provided if not held)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic math and measurement skills
