Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor including excavation, paving, and landscape maintenance
- Operate light machinery (e.g., jackhammers, asphalt cutters) with proper training
- Assist in emergency storm response and snow removal operations
- Maintain construction sites by organizing materials and ensuring safety protocols
- Collaborate with crew members to complete projects on schedule
- Report infrastructure issues and perform preventive maintenance tasks
- Adhere to all OSHA and city safety regulations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid Minnesota driver's license
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment
- Willingness to work in all weather conditions
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- 1+ years of construction or public works experience preferred
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends/evenings
