Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including excavation, grading, and material handling
- Operate light equipment (jackhammers, saws, concrete mixers) under supervision
- Maintain construction sites by clearing debris and ensuring safety compliance
- Assist in road maintenance, drainage projects, and public facility upkeep
- Collaborate with crews on time-sensitive municipal infrastructure projects
- Complete daily equipment inspections and maintenance reports
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Nevada driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred (training provided)
- Basic math skills for material calculations and measurements
- Flexibility to work weekends/holidays during critical project phases
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
