Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including landscaping, sidewalk repairs, and facility maintenance
- Operate hand tools, power equipment, and vehicles under supervision
- Assist in traffic control and site setup for public works projects
- Maintain clean and safe work environments following OSHA standards
- Support emergency response efforts during weather events
- Document work activities and report maintenance issues
- Participate in cross-functional teams for infrastructure improvements
Qualifications
- No prior experience required – on-the-job training provided
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical tasks in outdoor conditions
- Valid California driver's license or ability to obtain within 30 days
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Basic knowledge of safety protocols and willingness to learn equipment operation
- Strong work ethic and reliability with consistent attendance
- Ability to pass pre-employment physical and background check
