Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including excavation, paving, and landscaping projects
- Operate light machinery (e.g., jackhammers, street sweepers) safely and efficiently
- Assist in storm drain maintenance and roadway repairs
- Ensure compliance with OSHA safety standards and city protocols
- Participate in snow removal and emergency response operations
- Maintain equipment and clean job sites daily
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Kentucky driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Experience with construction tools or heavy equipment preferred
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- OSHA 10-hour certification within 90 days of hire
- Ability to work in all weather conditions and flexible hours
