Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor including excavation, paving, and infrastructure repairs
- Operate heavy machinery (backhoes, graders, dump trucks) with proper certifications
- Conduct routine maintenance of public spaces, drainage systems, and recreational facilities
- Ensure compliance with OSHA safety protocols and environmental regulations
- Document project progress and material usage through digital reporting tools
- Collaborate with engineering teams on remote site assessments and planning
- Respond to emergency weather-related infrastructure repairs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) preferred
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification
- Experience with GIS mapping and digital work order systems
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Strong problem-solving skills for remote troubleshooting
- Excellent communication abilities for virtual team coordination
- Must pass background check and drug screening
