Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance on streets, sidewalks, and public facilities
- Operate heavy machinery including excavators, loaders, and asphalt pavers
- Assist in emergency storm drain and flood control operations
- Conduct daily inspections of infrastructure assets and report issues
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on urban development projects
- Ensure compliance with OSHA safety protocols and city regulations
- Maintain accurate work logs and documentation for remote reporting
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Nevada Class C driver's license with clean record
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred
- Minimum 2 years experience in public works or civil construction
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Proficiency with digital reporting tools for remote work
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Must pass pre-employment physical and background check
