Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor including excavation, grading, and material handling for infrastructure projects
- Operate light machinery (e.g., jackhammers, saws, compactors) safely and efficiently
- Assist in road maintenance, sidewalk repairs, and storm drain management
- Prepare job sites by setting up barriers, signage, and safety protocols
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment following OSHA guidelines
- Participate in snow removal and emergency response operations during winter months
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Valid Colorado driver's license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year construction/public works labor experience preferred
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification or ability to obtain within 90 days
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of hand/power tools and construction materials
- Strong teamwork skills and commitment to public safety standards
- Pass pre-employment physical and background check
