Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including excavation, paving, and facility maintenance
- Operate heavy machinery (bobcats, dump trucks, backhoes) with proper certification
- Assist in stormwater management and sewer system inspections
- Maintain public spaces including parks, streets, and municipal buildings
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and environmental regulations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on infrastructure projects
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Ohio driver's license with clean record
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic mechanical knowledge of heavy equipment
- Pass pre-employment physical and background check
- 1+ years construction/maintenance experience preferred
