Responsibilities
- Perform general labor duties including loading, unloading, and transporting construction materials.
- Assist in the maintenance and cleaning of public roads, sidewalks, and drainage systems.
- Operate and maintain light to medium heavy equipment such as rollers, pavers, and excavators under supervision.
- Set up and maintain traffic control devices and flagging operations to ensure worker and public safety.
- Clear debris, brush, and vegetation from public rights-of-way.
- Assist in paving and asphalt maintenance tasks on various project sites.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Basic knowledge of construction safety protocols is a plus.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work well in a team environment.
