Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor including excavation, paving, and landscaping for public infrastructure projects
- Operate heavy machinery safely (dump trucks, graders, jackhammers)
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of roads, sidewalks, and drainage systems
- Collaborate with engineering teams on site planning and execution
- Complete digital reporting and documentation remotely using our cloud-based systems
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and environmental regulations
- Assist in emergency response during natural disasters or public safety incidents
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid California Class C Driver's License
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic proficiency with mobile devices for remote reporting
- Experience with hand/power tools and heavy machinery operation
- Pass background check and drug screening
