Responsibilities
- Perform daily maintenance and repair of public infrastructure including roads, sidewalks, and drainage systems
- Operate heavy machinery and equipment safely and efficiently under supervision
- Assist in construction projects including site preparation, material handling, and cleanup
- Conduct routine inspections and report infrastructure issues to supervisors
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project deadlines are met
- Maintain accurate work records and safety documentation
- Adhere to all OSHA and city safety regulations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- 1+ years of experience in construction, landscaping, or related field preferred
- Ability to operate basic hand tools and power equipment
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to obtain required certifications (training provided)
