Responsibilities
- Operate heavy machinery (backhoes, graders) for infrastructure projects
- Perform manual labor including excavation, grading, and asphalt repairConduct routine maintenance on public facilities and parks
- Coordinate with remote team members via digital platforms for project updates
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and environmental regulations
- Assist in emergency response during weather-related events
- Complete digital work orders using mobile tablets
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Arizona Driver's License with clean record
- OSHA 10-Hour Construction certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather
- Basic proficiency with digital tools (email, tablets, reporting software)
- Experience with heavy machinery operation
- Pass pre-employment physical and background check
- 1+ years in public works or construction field
