Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including digging, hauling, and lifting heavy materials in various weather conditions.
- Operate heavy machinery such as jackhammers, rollers, and dump trucks under direct supervision.
- Assist in street repair, storm drain maintenance, and public park upkeep projects.
- Clear snow and ice from roads, sidewalks, and public access points during winter storms.
- Maintain a clean and safe work site, strictly adhering to OSHA safety protocols and company guidelines.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and the public to ensure smooth project execution.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Valid Virginia driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Physical ability to perform strenuous outdoor work for extended periods.
- Willingness to work early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Familiarity with basic hand and power tools is a plus but not mandatory.
