Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including excavation, grading, and material handling
- Operate heavy equipment safely (bulldozers, excavators, etc.) with proper certification
- Assist in road maintenance, drainage system repairs, and park construction
- Adhere to all safety protocols and OSHA regulations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on project timelines and deliverables
- Conduct routine equipment inspections and maintenance checks
- Document daily work activities and material usage
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Texas Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in construction/public works
- Certification in heavy equipment operation preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in outdoor weather conditions
- Pass background check and drug screening
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification
