Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor for infrastructure maintenance (roads, sidewalks, parks)
- Operate heavy equipment (excavators, graders, dump trucks)
- Assist in emergency storm response and debris removal
- Conduct safety inspections and report hazards
- Maintain tools and equipment in optimal condition
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on projects
- Follow OSHA and city safety protocols rigorously
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Oregon Class C driver's license
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- Experience with construction/maintenance tools
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
