Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor including excavation, grading, and material handling for infrastructure projects
- Operate light equipment (e.g., jackhammers, saws, compactors) under supervision
- Assist in sidewalk repairs, drainage system maintenance, and street cleaning operations
- Load/unload construction materials and maintain organized storage areas
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and wear required PPE at all times
- Collaborate with crews to complete projects on schedule and within budget
- Document work progress and report equipment maintenance needs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and safety standards
- Ability to work in all weather conditions and stand for extended periods
- Previous experience in construction, landscaping, or public works preferred
- Strong work ethic and commitment to team collaboration
