Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor including excavation, material handling, and debris removal for infrastructure projects
- Operate light equipment (saws, jackhammers, sweepers) and hand tools safely and efficiently
- Assist in road repair, sidewalk maintenance, park upkeep, and stormwater management systems
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and proper PPE usage at all times
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project timelines and quality standards
- Document work activities and report hazards or equipment malfunctions promptly
- Participate in emergency response during severe weather or public safety incidents
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Minnesota driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks in all weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of construction tools, materials, and safety procedures
- Strong work ethic with punctuality and reliability demonstrated in previous roles
- Ability to follow verbal/written instructions and work independently or in teams
- Experience in construction, landscaping, or municipal labor preferred
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
