Responsibilities
- Maintain city parks, streets, and drainage systems
- Operate heavy machinery (backhoes, graders) safely
- Respond to emergency public works incidents
- Perform preventative infrastructure maintenance
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and municipal regulations
- Collaborate with cross-departmental teams
- Document work activities and equipment usage
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Texas Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- 2+ years heavy equipment operation experience
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification
- Ability to work in extreme weather conditions
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic computer literacy for reporting systems
