Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain heavy equipment such as backhoes, graders, and dump trucks.
- Perform routine maintenance on streets, sidewalks, and public infrastructure.
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests and weather-related incidents, including snow and flood control.
- Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with safety codes and regulations.
- Assist in the installation and repair of traffic signs, guardrails, and pavement markings.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) required.
- Valid California Class C Driver’s License with a satisfactory driving record.
- Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting 50+ lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Basic knowledge of hand and power tools.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions.
