Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain heavy municipal equipment, including dump trucks, graders, and excavators.
- Perform routine and emergency repairs on streets, sidewalks, and storm drains.
- Inspect and maintain park facilities, landscaping, and recreational areas.
- Respond to citizen inquiries and work orders regarding public infrastructure.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety standards and Department of Transportation regulations.
- Assist in snow removal and ice control during adverse weather conditions.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Valid Arizona Class A or B Driver’s License with a good driving record.
- Physical ability to perform heavy manual labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for extended periods, and working in extreme weather conditions.
- Basic knowledge of construction tools, machinery, and safety protocols.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential.
