Responsibilities
- Oversee $5M+ infrastructure projects from conception to completion
- Coordinate with engineering teams, contractors, and regulatory bodies
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation
- Ensure compliance with CA Public Contract Code and federal requirements
- Lead stakeholder engagement including community meetings and public hearings
- Prepare detailed progress reports for City Council and oversight committees
- Implement sustainability best practices in all project phases
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- 5+ years project management experience in public sector
- PMP certification or equivalent municipal project credentials
- Proven expertise with CA environmental regulations (CEQA, NEPA)
- Strong knowledge of OSHA safety standards and municipal procurement
- Advanced proficiency in MS Project and AutoCAD
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills
- Valid California driver's license
